Naiel, Uldis, and Khole are three men from Stockholm's suburbs. In the documentary Never Give Up Son, the documentary filmmaker Linnea Widén follows the three men and their struggle away from criminal life. They must all find a way to change their identity. For Naiel, the change came when he stood with a loaded gun in front of a man who had threatened his criminal gang. A voice from a higher power made him hesitate. But changing is not easy. The decision must be taken every day and the thought of giving up can never be an option.
