Nils Holgerssons underbara resa

The moody and unhappy 12-year-old Nils Holgersson lives on a farm in Skåne. As a punishment for his naughtiness against the animals on the farm, he is transformed into a little leprechaun by the farm's elf. From being big and tough Nils is small and defenseless. When he tries to prevent the tame goose Mårten from destroying the yard, he is stuck in his necklace, and Nils goes all the way up in the air with Mårten. This is the start of a fantastic adventure for Nils traveling from Skåne in the south to Lapland in the north.
