The Boy and the Beast

11 yrs 115 minutes 2015 7.7

In the world of beasts, Jutengai, lives the wild warrior Kumatetsu, which everyone is definitely afraid of, but nobody really likes or respects. When the king of the beasts decides to resign to, instead become a god, Kumatetsu is the natural choice to take over since he and the noble Iôzen are the strongest beasts in the country. But Kumatetsu is so standoffish and grumpy that he has never even managed to have a disciple, and before he can prove that he can handle it, he will not be a serious choice for the throne. During one of his strolls through the human world, he happens upon Ren on the streets of Tokyo. Kumatetsu makes him his disciple and an unlikely friendship begins. Studio Chizu's fast-paced animated adventure fits all ages and includes amazing animations and a good message about family, loyalty and love.
