Hip Hip Hurra!
Award winning film from 1987, where director Kjell Grede shows the artists' life in Skagen in the late 1890. We will follow Søren Krøyer's (Stellan Skarsgård) life and career as he visits the artist Anna and Michael Ancher to paint, live and fall in love with Marie Tiepcke (Pia Vieth), also an artist. But Krøyer's success and wealth tears on the relationship with Marie, and in the end, Marie does not want to follow him anymore. She meets Swedish composer Hugo Alvén (Stefan Sauk) and the triangular drama becomes a fact. Marie leaves Skagen together with Hugo and there is still Krøyer, who still thinks life is a party. Director Kjell Grede was awarded with a 1988 Golden Beetle.
