Fidelio, l'odyssée d'Alice
30-year-old Alice works as a mechanic on the freight carrier Fidelio, which transports containers over the oceans. Her Norwegian boyfriend is patiently waiting home in France while she is traveling around Europe. Her life is turned on its head when her first true love shows up as the new captain of the ship and they start an affair. At the same time, Alice finds a notebook written by a former colleague who has died in his cabin. Both an inner and an outer journey begins when Fidelio heads out to sea. Aftonbladet's Emma Gray Munthe writes about the film: "Feature-film debutant Lucie Borleteau captures life on board nicely: The sometimes raw jargon, the most often jovial mood, the mixture of different cultures. [...] This movie is not beating any drums, but it's a little slice of life. "
