Saint Laurent is a biographical film about the fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, born in 1936 in Algeria, moving as a 17-year-old to Paris, where he stayed for the rest of his life. When Christian Dior died in 1957 he was succeeded by 21-year-old Saint Laurent as head of the Dior company. In 1962, however, he opened his own fashion house. The film is centered around 1965-1976, when Yves Saint Laurent stood on top of his career. Here we get glances of the icon's private life and the demons that chased him all the way to the end and it forms a story of a life beyond the normal.
