It started one day when the lock to the toilet broke and Pettson was locked and became very sour. So sour that he wanted Findus to start cleaning up after himself. By sending a letter to the King, who according Findus is actually the one who decides, he believes he can convince the Pettson that small cats do not really need to clean up. And while Findus waits for the answer, he and the old man have all sorts of exciting visits. But will the answer from the king ever come, or not?
