Old man Pettson and his clever cat Findus are back in a Christmas adventure based on a book by Sven Nordqvist. Findus gets home to Pettson and tries to force him to promise that Santa Claus will come for Christmas - or, Findus thinks, there is no point in celebrating Christmas. Pettson makes his promise but becomes increasingly concerned about how he will fulfill Findus's wish.
