Pettersson und Findus 2 - Das schönste Weihnachten überhaupt is a German film production based on Sven Nordqvist's Pettson får julbesök. Two days before Christmas Eve, there is a snowstorm that forces Pettson and Findus to stay inside on the small farm, the food is starting to run out and they can't go out to chop down a Christmas tree. Findus is afraid that there will be no Christmas celebration, but Pettson promises it will be the best Christmas ever! The next day the weather is better, and they manage to take the sled out into the forest. But Pettson hurts his foot and they return home empty-handed. To get some Christmas feeling, they build their own Christmas tree. Suddenly someone is knocking on their door and there stand their kind neighbors with their arms full of goodies. Finally, they can celebrate the best Christmas ever!
