A Good Week for Democracy

Allowed 71 minutes 2018 5.4

Every year, the most powerful people in Sweden gather for one week in the city of Almedalen. Politicians, associations, companies, journalists and the public meet and discuss issues in a way that has long been almost unique to Sweden. In the documentary film A good week for democracy, Cecilia Björk reviews the Almedalen Week and its importance, and to which degree it is good for democracy. In Kommunalarbetaren, Johan Erlandsson writes that it is a fun, well-made and thoughtful film that is "a very valuable time capsule". He rates it 4 out of 5.
