A wonderful Christmas movie about the two friends Casper and Emma, based on Tor Åge Bringsværd and Anne G. Holt's popular Norwegian children's books. Casper and Emma long for Christmas and count the days together with their cuddly toys Miss Rabbit and the Lion cub. Emma is particularly excited as their dog is having puppies, and to have Santa come home to her, instead of just leaving the gifts outside the door as he normally does. When grandpa tells them that he is going to the cabin in the mountains with his girlfriend Esther, the two friends decide to convince him to stay. That is why they start creating the very, very best Christmas spirit possible.
