When a well-known producer was murdered, three promising screenwriters who have been seen together with the murdered person earlier in the evening become suspects. The producer is found in the river Tiber the same evening as the world championship in football took place and the Italian national team was eliminated. This acclaimed drama comedy by Paolo Virzi has some autobiographical features. The director made his debut as a screenwriter at a time when the Italian film industry was in a critical era. Virzi has previously made the films Human Capital and Like Crazy.
