In Återträffen, Anna Odell's film debut, the audience is invited to a class reunion 20 years after elementary school. But the party atmosphere gets disrupted when conflicts starts to resurface and old truths starts to get questioned. "Artists should make more films, and this is proof of that," writes Ingrid Stigsdotter in Sydsvenskan. "An unwelcome and truth-telling speech drives the action in the beginning of Anna Odell's smart and strong debut film, which is easily the best Swedish film of the year, on all levels," says Lisa Pehrsdotter in Gefle dagblad. The film won two Guldbaggar, for Best film and Best script, in 2014.
