Bikes vs Cars
In Fredrik Gertten's (Bananas) new documentary he examines how cars affect our world. We get to meet bike enthusiasts, activists, and politicians from all over the world. They all have a desire to reduce the number of cars in the world, and instead, put forth the bike as a means of transport. Today, more cars are sold in the world than ever before and the powerful interests that have benefited from the growth of cars are investing billions each year in lobbying and advertising to protect their business. Johan Malberg writes in Sydsvenskan: "Bikes vs Cars is in every way a general approach, a film with global ambitions that put the largest of issues on track.”
