In this documentary från 1989 director, Stefan Jarl portrays the everyday life of the agricultural couple Teodor and Asta Svensson in their small farm outside Ystad. It is a special documentary that almost completely lacks dialogue - it is the pictures that stand for the story. Through the seasons we see everyday life on the farm. Hanserik Hjertén wrote in DN “It is reality poetry. It is a dream of a way to live. It's Stefan Jarl's Christmas Gospel."
