Garry Winogrand: All Things are Photographable

Photographer Garry Winogrand (1928-1984) became known as a street photographer in the 1960s when he captured snapshots of especially New York's streets but also other American environments in Texas and California with his camera. He has been called one of his generation's most central photographers and his pictures have contributed to a unique view of his time. In the film about his life's work, we get to see a large quantity of his images and hear the stories from people who knew him personally as well as art connoisseurs and collectors.
