The classic silent film comedian Buster Keaton's career began early. At just four years old he was on the theater stage together with his parents within the vaudeville tradition. He is considered one of the most influential people in film history through his iconic silent films, focusing on physical comedy and stunt work, which was always performed with the stone face that came to be his hallmark.
