In this documentary, we meet Sister Kate. She is the founder of the Sisters of the Valley - a marijuana plantation in California. The Sisters use cannabis as a medicine, against everything from epilepsy to cancer. They give this medicine to people who need it. However, not everyone thinks the work of the sisters is good and they must fight against the Trump loving sheriff, a Christian bishop, and the government while trying to avoid the shots from the local drug cartels. This is her story – a story of one of the most controversial nuns in the world.
