In this thriller, which is based on a true story, is set in 1950s Copenhagen, a bank robber is suspected of being hypnotized by his charismatic cellmate to commit robbery and murder. The young criminal investigator Anders Olsen (Pilou Asbæk) contacts a psychiatrist who specializes in hypnosis to try to understand if it is possible and soon, he is in a world full of deep mental manipulation where his own life becomes a part of an evil game about controlling your own mind.
