Siyar leaves his home city in Iraqi Kurdistan to find his sister who ran away to avoid getting married. To cross the border between Iraq and Turkey, he wipes himself in plastic and hides in an oil tank on a truck. Once in Istanbul, he meets Evin, a girl who dresses as a boy. Together they make a dangerous journey through Europe where Siyar gets to know who he really is. This roadmovie about family, love and friendship won the award for best Nordic film at the Göteborgs Film Festival, and won the prize for best photo at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
