Black Coal Thin Ice

In this noir-like movie, the police find pieces of a body close to a coal mine and close to a dump. The police Zhang Zili take care of the investigation. But Zhang is forced to leave the mission after a failed interference because two colleagues get killed. Five years later, Zhang is contacted - a new murder has occurred, and it resembles the murder in the coal mine. A woman who works on a laundry is linked to the murders. Ingrid Stigsdotter at Sydsvenskan writes "(...) some sequences make a strong impression, especially a spectacular scene where violence breaks into a hairdressing salon in a seemingly random way, the shooting drama is a superb choreographed slapstick ballet."
