Game of death was Bruce Lees final film. He died of an acute cerebral edema before the filming was completed. The original story of the film was centered around a retired master of martial arts who was forced to face a Korean gang. However, after Lee’s death, director Robert Clouse used the material to tell the story of a movie star in the martial arts world who was subjected to attempted murder. He lets everyone believe the attempt was successful, but secretly plans his revenge on the men trying to kill him. Several scenes were recorded with different actors and stuntmen playing the role of Bruce Lee’s character.
