The card counter
In director Paul Schrader's The card counter, Oscar Isaac stars in the role of poker player William Tell. He once became a scapegoat for brutalities he was forced to carry out in the army, while those responsible got away and made civilian careers. One day, Tell is approached by a young man named Cirk who remind him of past wronings as he wants Tell's help to carry out an act of revenge against a common enemy, former Major John Gordo. Tell hesitates, but maybe it's time to get redress, once and for all?
