The year is 1975 and in the small state of Rhodes Island, a group of petty criminals are planning to make one of the biggest heists in US history. They plan to rob the unofficial bank where the mafia keeps money and goods worth more than $ 30 million. But challenging the mafia is not something you do without consequences and soon the group is tormented by both the threat from the mafia's henchmen and a distrust of each other. The film is based on the real event that has come to be known as The Bonded Vault heist and was followed by a very long and costly legal process which is partly considered to have undermined the mafia's influence in the region.
