Paulina chooses, against her father's will, to give up a promising law career in Buenos Aires for a job as a teacher in an isolated and poor city. She wants to make a difference in people's lives. Driven by her high ideals and full of hopes she takes care of the hard work, but nothing is as simple as she thought. Her new students are uninterested in philosophical discussions in the classroom. One late evening, Paulina becomes brutally attacked and raped by a group of young men, some of whom are believed to be her students. Despite the community’s protests, she returns as quickly as she can to school. The film won both the FIPRESCI prize and the big prize in the Critical Week at the Cannes Film Festival 2015.
