Under one year Julie Bertuccelli followed a group of students aged 11 to 15, who recently arrived in France and is learning French. They come from many different countries, Ireland, Serbia, Brazil, Tunisia, China, and Senegal. They have come to France for many different reasons. In this documentary, we get to know the conversations, conflicts, and pleasures of a number of teenagers who all want to change their lives. Annika Gustafsson in Sydsvenskan finds that Bertuccelli in a phenomenal way succeeded in documenting difficult situations. She writes: "Bertuccelli is close to the students, especially the girls, especially those from the Muslim countries. Most of them also need the support to find " Freedom, Equality, Brotherhood "- witch France stands for.
