How I Came to Hate Math
Is there any sense of learning math in school? Do you really have any use of it in your everyday lives? And why is it so boring? These are questions that the French filmmaker Olivier Peyon decided to finally search answers to. By visiting some of today's great math geniuses, such as Fields Medal winner Cedric Villani, hedge fund guru James Simons, and French historian Jean Dhombres, he thoroughly researches this heavyweight topic to find and understand the true meaning of mathematics. How I Came to Hate Math was nominated for Best Documentary Film at the French César Awards 2014.
