In just the last five years, around 100,000 people have died in the Mexican drug war. In Devil's Freedom, we follow the people behind the statistics, both perpetrators and victims act anonymously behind masks and tell of the cruelty that paralyzed a whole country. The film is directed by Everardo González and has won several awards at various film festivals, including Amnesty's international film prize at the Berlin Film Festival.
