Whose Streets?

In Ferguson, Missouri, in the summer of 2014, Michael Brown was shot dead by a police officer. It was just one of many controversial shootings against young black men and this time it led to massive protests in the town. In the documentary Whose Streets? the directors Sabaah Folayan and Damon Davis provides a unique insight into the case of Michael Brown, the protests that followed and the Black Lives Matter movement. The film has been shown and praised at several film festivals in 2017 and became nominated for the Grand jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
