For over thirty years, Dr. Jean-Pierre Werner has practiced as a doctor in the French countryside. He is well-liked by everyone and knows everything about their ailments, and a lot of other things too. But then the doctor himself is afflicted with illness and it seems really bad. A colleague sends a doctor to relieve Jean-Pierre, who accepts the help extremely reluctantly. That she is a woman and she looks good is okay. But she's from big city! What does she know about how to do things in the countryside? Irreplaceable offers beautiful French countryside atmosphere and is filled by many wonderful characters. It's a feel good movie, but not without darkness. In the lead we find François Cluzet, who became a world name with the success An unexpected friendship.
