To the very remote school of Lunana in Bhutan, the young teacher Ugyen Dorji arrives – reluctantly – after a long journey and strenuous trek through the mountains. He has been sent there by the school management when he failed to do his job and instead partied around the town's pubs. The school in Lunana is his last chance. But Dorji really wants to be a pop star – what will happen to that dream, and will he succeed as a teacher in Lunana? The Bhutanese film Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom was a nominee for Best International Feature Film award at the 2022 Academy Awards.
