A family gathers to celebrate the birth of little Gloria, but despite the happiness of the child, the young parents struggle with basic things in life. The film is a socially conscious family drama about love and class that takes place in a suburb of Marseille. This acclaimed film had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, where the protagonist Ariane Ascaride also received the award for the best female actress. Director Robert Guédiguian is also behind hits such as The Snow on Kilmanjaro and The House by the Sea.
