The British author James has come to Tuscany to talk about his latest book which explores the value of the copy in relation to the original. In the audience is the French art dealer Elle and the two decide to spend a day together in the beautiful surroundings of Tuscany. They talk about life, love, art and what can really be considered genuine. But what starts out as a pleasant excursion soon reveals a new depth in their relationship. Both director Abbas Kiarostami and Juliette Binoche won awards at the Cannes Film Festival and the film was also nominated for the Palme d'Or.
