The comedy Dog days weaves together different life stories in Los Angeles. What they all have in common is a connection to dogs. Adoptive parents Grace and Kurt try everything to make their daughter Amelia feel comfortable with them, but it is only when they find a stray dog that they start to feel like a real family. The eccentric and shy Garrett, who runs a dog shelter, awkwardly tries to reveal his feelings for Tara, but Tara only has eyes for the veterinarian Mike. Two news anchors who do not agree on anything discover that they at least have a common interest in dogs. Friendships, romantic relationships or family ties, everything gets better with the unconditional love from a dog!
