We are in Paris in the ’90s and the activists in the Act Up group are getting frustrated. There is still very little help to get even though AIDS continues to harvest victims. What should they do to change this? Together they take extraordinary means to make people see what is happening. During this period, Nathan becomes a member of the group, and together with the militant Sean, he throws himself into a pounding Paris. The film was nominated for Best Foreign Film at the Stockholm Film Festival 2018 and got praises at several film festivals, Cannes Film Festival. The reviews attest to a masterpiece and Roger Wilson writes in Kulturnytt in P1 that this is "A unique depiction of how the struggle can provide a strength to survive - in the midst of a time of abandonment and hopelessness."
