A poorly planned bank robbery leads to Connie's mentally disabled brother Nick being put into jail. During the following 24 hours, Connie finds himself in a bunch of bizarre situations while doing everything he can to get his brother out of jail. He drifts deeper and deeper into New York's underworld until his life hangs by a thread. Simon Pollack Sarnecki at Nöjesguiden writes: “Good time is a highly successful nightmare journey through the dark corners of Queens, I’m not having a ‘good time’, but I am watching a really good movie”. The film won an award for its soundtrack at Cannes Film Festival and was also nominated for Palm d’Or.
