A thriller where Kevin Costner portrays the respected businessman Earl Brooks, who under his well-polished surface is a very dangerous mass murderer. It is his alter ego Marshall who tells Earl to kill, but for almost two years he has managed to keep the voice away by attending AA meetings. But now Marshall is back with full force and Earl cannot help falling for the temptation to kill again. But this time he’s careless and is observed by a person who has the same monstrous fetish.
