The hyperactive suricat Billy plays drums and the lion Socrates, who is a vegetarian, takes care of his flowers. All the friends are waiting for the spring river to come to Africa's Okavango Delta. But the water doesn’t show, and they start a journey to find out what has happened. They discover a huge pond, where all water goes to a luxury resort for humans. The animals assemble a large animal conference where all of them join forces and fight against human destruction. Erika Walukiewicz at Gefle Dagblad believes that the film "In addition to pointing out what humans do to nature, the film also criticizes the double morale in organizing a climate conference at luxury resorts.
