A Town Called Panic

Allowed 75 minutes 2009 7.4

A Town Called Panic is a completely mad stop motion film for children and grownups created by the two Belgian animators Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar. With the help of plastic toys they have created a world where there is complete panic. It all begins when Cowboy and Indian are going to give a present to Horse. They accidentally order 50 million bricks instead of 50. Their try to fix the situation leads to a chaotic adventure that takes them to the center of the earth, over frozen lands with gigantic penguin robots, into a parallell underwater world and back again. “Watching the movie is like reliving a perfect child hood day when the fantasy was just running in eternity and the toys were one with the nervous system”, writes Michael tapper in Sydsvenskan and rates A Town Called Panic 5 out of 5.
