Blue Is the Warmest Color
The Tunisian-French director Abdellatif Kechiche’s fifth film, Blue is the warmest color, was awarded the Palm d'Or in Cannes in 2013. Sixteen-year-old Adèle is young, innocent and unsure about what she wants in life. When she meets Emma, a punk girl with blue hair and strong opinions, she opens her eyes to love and liberation. The two initiate a relationship, explored in the smallest detail by a camera that never shies away, especially not in the daring sex scenes. “The director manages his expression with perfection and creates a varied, contrast-rich visual mix”, Annika Gustafsson writes in Sydsvenskan giving it the second highest rating.
The film is not playable outside of Sweden
