Släpp fångarne loss det är vår
Small and short Frida (Lena Nyman) lives with her long, tall friend (Tage Danielsson) in a house in the countryside. Frida rejects the idea that people who have committed crimes should be locked up. One day their own house is burgled by Harald Hansson (Ernst-Hugo Järegård) . He is sentenced to prison. Acting in accordance with her philosophy, Frida decides to use all means possible to make it possible for Harald to escape. That's when they meet the prison director (Gösta Ekman), the crippled prisoner Erlandsson (Hans Alfredson) and the romantic councilmans daughter (Margaretha Krook). And the Professor (Jan Malmsjö), who offers a real song and dance number in the cell. Taking Danielsson's humorous posts in the prison debate, the film contains many good laughs and spreads warmth and joy to all ages.
