One day a message in a bottle arrives to Pippi from the South Pacific. The bottle contains a message from Pippi's father, Captain Longstocking, captured by pirates and is now asking its strong daughter for help. Pippi does not hesitate a second. Together with Tommy and Annika, she sets out to the South Seas to save her father.
