It’s Thursday again! As usual this means a whole bunch of new movies in Viddla.

In this winterdarkness we recommend letting yourself be inspired by the amazingly strong woman Thulasi, who we get to meet in the documentary Light Fly, Fly High.

Thulasi is a young girl in India born outside caste. Since, her life is predetermined. She is supposed to get married, cook for her family and wear a Sari. However, she doesn’t want anything of that. She wants to be a boxer. In order to get a job, she has to win a boxing tournament within a year, but in her way stands the chairman of the boxing federation. He decides who gets to compete and should you win, he requires payment to sign the diploma. You have to pay with money – or with your body. But Thulasi refuses to be used.
