After ten years on the job in the insurance industry, Michael (Liam Neeson) has been fired. On the commuter train on the way home, an unknown woman contacts him. She convinces him to help her find another passenger before the train reaches its final destination and offers him a compensation that would greatly improve his suddenly more difficult financial situation as unemployed. The mission turns out to be far more complicated than Michael first thought, and he is forced to fight against the timetable when much more than what he bargained for is on the line.
