A Gang Story

A Gang Story is a crime story based on true events about the notorious gang of armed robbers that put Lyon in shock during the 70's. We follow Edmond Vidal and Serge Suttel from the theft of a box of cherries to them becoming members of Lyon's most notorious gang. Rage, betrayal and revenge is everyday life in the violent world of organized crime. The story takes place in both the 70's and present day when Vidal has aged and lives for his family. The tight tension is recognized from the director Olivier Marchal's earlier films (36th Precinct, The Last Deadly Mission) and the fact that he himself worked as a police officer in France during the time that the story takes place provides the film with an extra realistic touch.
