The year is 1825 on the Australian island of Tasmania. The young Irish prisoner Claire seeks revenge on the British officer who brutally murdered her family. Claire's hunt goes through the wilderness of Tasmania and to her aid she has an Aboriginal tracker, Billy, who, too, is driven by a traumatic past.
