The Space Between Us

During a space flight to Mars with the goal of colonizing the planet, one of the astronauts discovers that she is pregnant. The baby is born on Mars, but the mother does not survive. The little boy is named Gardner, and he grows up together with the other scientists, isolated from the rest of Earths population. When the chance finally comes for him to visit Earth for the first time, it turns out that his body cannot handle the Earth's atmosphere. Despite this, he runs off with a teenage girl named Tulsa, determined to discover everything that he only heard stories about, and maybe even find the father he never met and who doesn’t know he exists.
