In this futuristic western drama, water has become the most desirable natural resource after the great devastating catastrophe. The world is drying up and Ernest Holm tries to create a life and a future for himself and his children, Jerome and Mary. Ernest does everything to make the farm survive in this anarchic and tough reality. He defends it against bandits and tries to see if there is anything that can grow. But Mary's boyfriend has other plans for the farm and the land. He wants to take over and have them for himself, and he will do everything to succeed.
