Chen Zhen (Bruce Lee) returns to his hometown to marry his fiancé but is faced with the tragic news that his martial arts champion Huo Yuanjia has died. During the funeral, some members of the nearby Japanese dojo come to mock the deceased master and his students and soon the truth comes out – Chens master was poisoned at the request of the master of the Japanese dojo. Despite overwhelming resistance, Chen starts to take revenge on the members of the dojo.
