The Gold Rush
”This is the picture that I want to be remembered by”, Charlie Chaplin once said about this immortal classic. Chaplin’s character, the Little Tramp, is in search of wealth by the Yukon river in Alaska and has to, except for the river, handle a big and erratic man who’s also looking for gold, and a dance hall girl that catches his eyes. The highlights of the film include the occasion when Charlie has to eat a boot to avoid starvation, the dancing of the bread rolls, and the house on the edge of a cliff. The film first premiered in 1925 and this is a recut version from 1942 with narration and music.
The film is not playable outside of Sweden
